Britney Spears Battles Paparazzi in 'I Wanna Go' Video

Britney Spears literally fights off paparazzi and flashes her, ahem, humorous side in the music video for "I Wanna Go," the third single from "Femme Fatale." The Chris Marrs Piliero-directed clip premiered Wednesday morning (June 22) on MTV, just in time to qualify for this year's Video Music Awards.

The video opens with the pop star fielding boneheaded questions at a press conference -- "Can you confirm reports that you're pregnant with Brad Pitt's lovechild?" one reporter asks, to which Spears cheekily replies, "That is false. It's quintuplets" -- until she curses off most of the room, save for a mustachioed guy wearing a crown played by Guillermo Diaz. As the electro-pop track kicks in, Spears starts being "a little inappropriate" by grabbing a fan's crotch and flashing an entire city street, all while inspiring dogs and infants to whistle along with the song's bridge.

Eventually Spears is confronted by a trio of photographers/cyborgs whom she fittingly slays with her microphone while standing on top of a taxi. The guy with the crown (although the crown is mysteriously gone) stops by to save Spears, and soon the man is pouring a full carton of milk on himself while driving off with the singer. Natch, it turns out that the adventure was all a daydream for Spears -- or was it??

The "I Wanna Go" video continues Spears' visual representation of her relationship with the paparazzi and her public image, as previously seen in the clips for "Piece of Me" and "Everytime." However, the new clip is arguably her most playful yet, from the "Thriller" shout-out at the end to movie marquee reading "Crossroads 2: Cross Harder," a nod to her 2002 film debut.

Spears will perform "I Wanna Go" and other "Femme Fatale" hits when her Femme Fatale tour with Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo continues Wednesday night in Glendale, Ariz.
